PLAVE HYPERDRIVE: No. 31 on Billboard 200, Up 114 Spots

PLAVE HYPERDRIVE has reached No. 31 on the Billboard 200, setting the group’s best result on the chart. The fifth mini album climbed 114 spots from the No. 145 position of “Caligo Pt.2.”
Title track “Star Trace” entered the Oct. 24-dated Billboard Global 200 at No. 68, then ranked No. 84 on the Oct. 31-dated chart, marking two consecutive weeks on the chart. Four additional tracks also charted for two consecutive weeks. I’m glad “Star Trace” is clearly identified as the title track.
PLAVE HYPERDRIVE also topped both the Top Album Sales and World Albums charts. It placed No. 4 on Independent Albums, No. 25 on the Artist 100, and No. 1 on Emerging Artists.
Released on Oct. 12, the mini album saw every track, including “Star Trace,” enter the top ranks of major Korean music charts Melon, Genie and Bugs. First-week sales exceeded 1.32 million copies, setting a new group record.
PLAVE’s first world tour, “KEEP IT MANIC,” begins with performances in Korea, followed by Macau on Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 and Los Angeles on Nov. 14. I’m glad the announced itinerary includes stops in both Macau and Los Angeles.
