IVE remix adds Tiger JK to ‘Looks Can Kill’
The IVE remix of ‘Looks Can Kill (AlawnRemix (Feat. Tiger JK))’ was released on music platforms at 1 p.m. KST on Oct. 30, with Tiger JK featured on rap.
Starship Entertainment announced the release. Producer Alawn made the remix, with Tiger JK joining as a featured artist. As a fan, I’m glad to see this pairing.
The original ‘Looks Can Kill’ is an electronic dance-pop song with a message that anyone can be the main character and hero of their own life. Its sound combines heavy bass, dynamic drums and layered electronic sounds.
The original music video reached No. 1 on YouTube Music Videos Trending Worldwide, and the song topped Melon’s weekly Global-K chart. Challenge videos posted on IVE’s official social accounts have surpassed 100 million combined views. I’m looking forward to hearing Tiger JK’s rap on the remix, too.
