ZEROBASEONE EMP: 3 ‘OFF script’ Tracks, Members Co-Write

ZEROBASEONE EMP's digital single 'OFF script' is set to arrive with three tracks on Nov. 10 at 6 p.m. KST.

The tracklist, shared on ZEROBASEONE's official social media on Oct. 28, includes title track 'RUN (with Dynamic Duo),' 'AFTERTASTE (with JUNNY),' and 'MADE YOU LOOK.'

'OFF script' is about stepping away from a set script to show the two members' individuality and musical abilities. Seok Matthew and Park Gun-wook also took part in writing and composing the tracks, with the music carrying a message about forging their own path. I especially like that both members contributed to the songwriting.

Producer Padi worked on title track 'RUN,' which combines hip-hop and drum and bass. Gaeko, Choiza, Seok Matthew, and Park Gun-wook contributed to its lyrics and composition, and the track brings Dynamic Duo's and EMP's rap together.

'AFTERTASTE' is a hip-hop track built around guitar riffs and rhythmic beats, with grime and Latin music elements and a feature from JUNNY. 'MADE YOU LOOK' is a dreamy R&B hip-hop track that expresses the members' confidence in drawing attention.

Before the digital single arrives, EMP is scheduled to hold the listening event 'SOUND SEMINAR' on Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. KST at CJ Azit Gwangheungchang in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The unit plans to preview the new songs and share stories about the release with fans; I’m looking forward to this early chance to hear about their music.
