Nam Woohyun 2X8: ‘DEVIL’ MV Teaser Drops Ahead of Album
Nam Woohyun 2X8 enters the final day before release with a music video teaser for its title track, “DEVIL.” The teaser was published on October 13, one day ahead of the album’s scheduled release. Billion Music, the agency named in the report, released the video through its official YouTube channel.
Nam Woohyun 2X8 teaser highlights “DEVIL”
The video is presented primarily in black and white. It shows Nam Woohyun sitting alone inside a car, while a butterfly appears resting on his fingertips. A scene of a mirror breaking also features in the teaser. These images appear in the video without a confirmed sequence connecting them, so the description stays with the scenes themselves rather than assigning them an order. The clip also includes part of the choreography for “DEVIL” in its later portion.
The teaser gives viewers both visual details and a brief look at the title track’s choreography. Its focus is specifically the music video for “DEVIL,” rather than a general preview of every song on the album. The song is the title track of “2X8,” the full-length album due the following day.
A 16-track full album for Nam Woohyun’s solo debut anniversary
“2X8” is Nam Woohyun’s second full-length album and is being released for the 10th anniversary of the singer’s solo debut. The album contains 16 tracks, including “DEVIL.” Nam Woohyun participated in the work on all 16 tracks. The reported credit is participation in the work across the album; it does not specify separate lyric-writing or composition roles.
That album-wide involvement is distinct from the teaser’s narrower focus on the title track. The video offers a portion of “DEVIL” choreography, while the album’s confirmed track count covers the title song and the other tracks together. This makes “2X8” the central release connecting the teaser, its featured song, and the wider album track list.
Release and Seoul concert dates
The second full-length album “2X8” is scheduled for release on October 14 at 6 p.m. The October 13 upload is the music video teaser’s publication date; October 14 is the album’s release date. The source does not specify a time zone for the release time.
Nam Woohyun is also scheduled to hold the solo concert “식목일VI- EVER GREEN” at KBS Arena in Seoul from November 6 through 8. The concert follows the album release on the supplied schedule. Its title and venue are confirmed alongside the three-day concert dates.
